When I joined Helio I had a clear goal in mind; to lose a few stone, gain muscle strength and feel confident about my body.
Through regular gym sessions and getting involved in the classes – whether it’s 20 minutes on the treadmill or an hour workout, it really does add up! Zumba is definitely my favourite, getting me in that party mood! I forget I am working out and just having fun – burning calories is a bonus!
The team here at Helio were a massive help.
They’re all so friendly and approachable, making you feel like you’re a part of a bigger family rather than just gym members.
Starting Personal Training sessions with Chrystal was the best decision I made. She has been amazing! Even though it hasn’t been easy, she’s kept me motivated and loving what I do, which has led to me achieving what I set out to.

From starting my journey a year ago I’ve lost a lot of weight, and gained a lot of muscle tone and strength. I would have never got this far without Chrystal’s help and support and I’ve also made a lifelong friend! I am so proud of how far I’ve come – I know Helio is the place for me.
I’ve set myself a further target of continuing my fitness journey and becoming body confident for my summer holiday in Ibiza with the girls. Bikini here I come!
